Ivan Rutherford
by March 12, 2017Ivan Rutherford is a world-class Broadway actor and singer, who has performed extensively around the world. Famed for his portrayal of lead character Jean Vealjean in the iconic music Les Miserables, Ivan has perform the role over 2,300 times in 14 productions. He was honored with the role during the 10th anniversary company in New York, and co-starred along side Andrea McArdle (Original Annie in Annie) at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine, and with Lea Salonga (Original Kim in Miss Saigon) on Broadway in the 20th anniversary Les Miz revival, and with two time Tony award winner Sutton Foster on the national tour.
Ivan now tours around the world, performing highlights from Les Miserables and other Broadway classics. His one-man show has delighted audiences around the world. From its intimate “unplugged” version of just Ivan and a piano, to a full-blown orchestra showcase, his flexible stage show has toured throughout the world.
As the appetite for Broadway continues to grow at an accelerating pace in Asia, Ivan is pleased to bring the best of Broadway to an Asian audience.
